What areas of Oregon and Washington do you serve?
I'm licensed in both Oregon and Washington, and actively sell across the Portland metro, Tualatin, Tigard, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Wilsonville, Oregon City, and Clark County communities including Vancouver WA, Ridgefield, Camas, and Battle Ground. My office is in Woodburn, OR, and I work across the full Portland-Vancouver market. For new-construction specifically, I have deep expertise in LGI Homes communities throughout the region.
Do you work with first-time home buyers?
Absolutely. A majority of my clients are first-time buyers. I explain each step of the process, help line you up with trusted lenders for pre-approval, guide you through what to look for during showings, negotiate incentives when the builder offers them, and walk you through inspection and closing. Because I sell new construction, many of my first-time buyers take advantage of seller-paid closing cost programs and interest-rate buydowns that can reduce your out-of-pocket costs significantly.
Do you specialize in VA loans and veteran buyers?
Yes. As a US Army veteran, I speak VA-loan fluently. That covers COE requirements, entitlement, funding fee exemptions for disability ratings, and the builder-paid concessions that work particularly well with VA financing. Many of my veteran clients close with zero down and minimal cash at closing. I also handle dual-military relocation timelines and PCS-driven closings.
What makes working with a new-construction REALTOR different?
New construction has its own language: lot premiums, builder incentives, structural options, elevation choices, warranty terms, and phased pricing that moves with supply. A generalist agent often hands you off to the builder's on-site sales counselor, who works for the builder, not for you. I represent buyers on the floor, negotiate upgrades and concessions, review the purchase contract before you sign, and walk you through the pre-drywall and final orientation inspections. The builder pays my commission at closing, so my services cost you nothing.
What if I'm also considering resale homes?
I represent clients on resale transactions as well. Many buyers start by comparing a new build against a nearby resale. I model the 25-year cost difference, factor in deferred maintenance and major-system replacement timelines on the resale, and walk you through the real delta. Sometimes the resale wins; sometimes the new build does. You deserve an agent who'll run the actual math instead of steering you toward whichever transaction closes faster.
How quickly do you respond to inquiries?
Within a few hours during business hours, and almost always within the same day otherwise. I read every message personally. No assistants, no auto-responders. If you call and miss me, leave a voicemail and I'll return it. If you'd rather schedule a call, the "Book a Time" button above puts a slot directly on my calendar.
Do you help with selling a home too?
Yes. I list resale homes in Oregon and Washington with a marketing package that includes drone aerials (I'm an FAA Part 107 certified pilot), full professional photography, 3D virtual tours, targeted paid social distribution, and MLS syndication. Because I see new-build inventory daily, I can also price your resale with real-time comparison to the competing new construction buyers are shopping against.
