A newly licensed agent might walk through your final walkthrough and tell you everything looks great. I walk through and spot the cabinet door that’s not hanging level, the grout lines that are inconsistent, the window caulking that wasn’t finished properly, the flooring transition that’s already separating, the paint bleed on the trim work. I’ve done hundreds of these walkthroughs over 7+ years. I know what good finish work looks like — and I know what corners get cut when the build schedule is tight.
